Our Story<\/h2>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.5″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]SPARK Federal Credit Union<\/strong><\/em> traces its roots to August 30, 1957, when seven members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 76 founded what was then IBEW Local 76 Federal Credit Union. Their vision was simple: create a trusted financial cooperative dedicated to serving union members and their families.\n\nThose founding members\u2014W.M. Gaffney, John W. Thornton, Douglas W. Lane, Ronald Wells, Richard J. Bergman, Paul J. Keonitzer, and Clyde H. Hupp\u2014built the credit union on the belief that people are stronger when they work together and support one another.\n\nOver the years, the credit union has grown beyond its humble beginnings while remaining true to its founding principles.
