SPARK FCU Introduces Wildfire Disaster Relief Loan
Supporting Our Union Family When It Matters Most
Our hearts are with the members, families, and communities affected by the devastating wildfires impacting Washington. We know that some members of our IBEW family have experienced unimaginable loss, including the loss of their homes.
At SPARK Federal Credit Union, we believe that being a member-owned financial cooperative means showing up for one another in times of need. That’s why we’ve created a Disaster Relief Loan to provide immediate financial assistance to members who have been directly impacted by the wildfires.
Disaster Relief Loan
- Up to $3,000
- 3.00% APR
- 36-month repayment term
- No payments due for the first three months
We’ve intentionally made the application process simple. If you’re not already a member of SPARK FCU, you’ll first complete a membership application, followed by a Disaster Relief Loan (Closed End Signature) application.
To help us deliver assistance quickly while ensuring it reaches those who need it most, we are working directly with IBEW Local leadership to confirm members who have been impacted by the wildfires. Proof of income is not required.
While no loan can replace what has been lost, we hope this program provides a measure of financial relief as affected members begin the recovery and rebuilding process.
